Mary. Mother of God. She is revered by Catholics and Orthodox (almost deified sometimes). She is not God, but she is among the very greatest models of faith we can possibly imagine. She is open to the Spirit of God moving within her. She is a heart free and ready to receive the Word of God. “I am the Lord’s servant, let it be unto me…” This is where we all need to be. Let it be unto me. I’m yours. Can you relate to Mary? There is much to fear and many ways your expectations might get derailed and discontinued, but with hearts open to the Lord in faith there is no limit to what God can do. John 19:26-27, Mother behold your son. Mary remains at the heart of the family even after Jesus’ crucifixion.
