Here at First Pres, we believe worship is more than a moment on Sunday, it’s a rhythm that reorients our hearts and sets the tone for the week ahead. Whether you're new to faith, new to town, or simply longing for a deeper sense of purpose, we invite you along with us into a weekly rhythm that centers your life on God.

Every Sunday, across all generations and experiences, we gather downtown to encounter the living God together. Whether your heart resonates with classic hymns led by a choir or a more modern interpretation of songs led by a contemporary band, our services are distinct in style but united in spirit. What connects us all is the same hope: that Jesus would be glorified, and that we would be shaped by His Word; transformed to be Light and Life for this city.

Before the Service

Arriving and Parking: Our campus is located in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. Free parking is available in our Weber Street lot and adjacent areas. Look for blue "First Pres Guest" signs to guide you.

Hospitality Team: As you arrive, our greeters will welcome you at the door. They’re easy to spot and ready to help you find your way around.

Kids and Youth Check-In: If you're bringing kids or students, our team will guide you through a quick and secure check-in process for age-appropriate programming.

Worship Service

During the Service

Classic Worship: Held in the Sanctuary, this service features traditional hymns, choir, and orchestra in a reverent, liturgical style. Service times: 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.

Modern Worship: Held in the Worship Center, this service offers a more casual atmosphere with contemporary music and a dynamic preaching environment. Service times: 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Regardless of the style, each service shares the same biblically-rooted sermon from our Lead Pastor and teaching team. Children and students are invited and welcomed to sit with families in worship, and we even have activity bags available outside the doors.

Plaza

After the Service

Connect in the Plaza: Stop by the Welcome Desk to meet someone from our team, grab a cup of coffee, and explore ways to get connected.

Family Pickup: Kids and youth will be released only to authorized adults after the 10am programming. Volunteers are available to help with check-out.

What time are services?
Classic Worship: 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Modern Worship: 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. in the Worship Center
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before service, especially if you have kids to check in or want to grab coffee.
What should I wear?
You’ll see everything from jeans to suit jackets. Simply come as you are.
Are kids welcome in the service?
Absolutely. We also offer kids programming at 10am for all ages.
Do you livestream?
Yes! Our 8:30 Classic and 11:00 Modern services are streamed online at firstprescos.org/live.
Is there accessible parking and seating?
Yes. Our greeters are happy to help you find accessible entrances and seating.
