First Pres Military Ministry

Military Ministry Mission

Our First Pres Military Ministry serves active military members, veterans, and family members in the Colorado Springs community.

We are an active, and robust ministry with a passion for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all with a specific focus on those who have military related needs. Our team ministers directly in one-on-one or group encounters and indirectly through other community groups or organizations. A small core team of volunteers also helps to coordinate activities and events.

Central to Colorado Springs’ many military installations, First Pres brings Light and Life to our entire military community of active duty and retired personnel, veterans and their families. With a lead pastor, Tim McConnell, who served as an Army Chaplain and many members who have served and are currently serving, our church is fully engaged with the military life and its challenges.
