Classic Worship Coordinator

Mark provides administrative and logistical support for First Pres’ Sunday worship services and special events to include preparing music and scheduling musicians for ministry. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, Mark began his professional career as a staff musician at Walt Disney World, joining the Air Force Academy Band in 1990. During his 30-year career as an Air Force musician and senior enlisted manager, he performed extensively throughout the United States, Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe, including as a featured soloist with the Orchestra of the Armed Forces of Croatia. He came to a personal faith in and relationship with Jesus Christ while in college. Mark and his wife Diana have been married since 1983, and have been blessed with three grown children, their wonderful spouses, and five grandchildren. An avid trombonist, Mark performs with Colorado’s premier salsa band ‘Conjunto Colores’, the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, Pikes Peak Brass Band, and various other ensembles. In his “free” time, he enjoys exercising, reading, and hiking.
